Saturday 25th April 2026 was truly a blessed and bold day to remember for us at Bambou. We revealed the next evolution of care and love to the world of haircare, with our innovative NIMBO, more of a cloud on your head than a bonnet.
I had a whirlwind of emotions and was overjoyed to see so many familiar faces and the family we’re building. It started out as a bundle of nerves and anticipation, but seeing the smiles from you all brought only the love and warmth of what we are trying to create. In retrospect, I wish it could have gone on for a week, but there’s so much more to overcome and experience.
I started this project three years ago with a lot of doubt and anxiety, but I have been given more support and love than I could have ever imagined! We are truly excited to reach the end of this chapter of preparation and introduce the world to NIMBO. I have so much confidence in NIMBO, not only as a product but as something to bring into our lives and make hair care something to unburden and tackle the stress and frustration we feel over bad hair days. At NIMBO I want you to feel relaxed in our products and for you and your hair to be on the same team, always.
Our mothers have asked about their kids and if they too will get NIMBO’, and yes, we’re excited to already be thinking ahead. The kid’s sizes will be coming you can rest assured. There will be stress free days ahead when it comes to the young one’s care. There will also be innovations to the design, new sizes and many evolutions to occur with the NIMBO and new ways to rest, restore and care for yourself. The Signature Sage Green and many other colours are in the works! We have begun the journey, and you will not be left behind.

The NIMBO Reveal was truly a moment that showcased the community we wish to grow and the power of collaboration with the unbelievable local talents and businesses. This day was all made possible by the supremely organised and talented mind of Daisy from Daisies Parties, alongside the genius creative visual directing of Nadia at Atelier Niwe. Beautifully decorated and adorned by Rebecca from Style My Event, furnished and crafted with the beautiful style of Crosby Hire. We had the sweet touch of Mimi’s Marvels and her delicious catering to fill us. Immortalised in camera and memory by Michael at Social Aspect Collective, Presentation and Visuals thanks to David at Dlux Displays. Not least but an extra thanks GracedBeauty for providing their space and making us all feel at home.
